About The Producer
Rié and Hiro, originally from Japan, met at a wine school in Beaune. She worked with Fred Mugnier and others, while he spent five years at Domaine de Chassorney. Passionate about vineyard work, they sought affordable vineyards outside Burgundy for their own wine. Their domaine, Pedres Blanques, meaning “White Rocks” in Catalan, is located in Collioure. The vineyards, with their dramatic steepness and numerous terraces, are among the most stunning in France.
