2022 Frog's Leap Flycatcher (Napa Valley, CA) 6R

Flycatcher is our brand new wine, a love letter to California, celebrating the state's wonderful and diverse terroirs—from Lodi to Los Carneros. Capturing the essence of California in a bottle is ambitious, but we've been guided by inspiring growers and treasured vineyards that harmoniously fit together to create a wine that feels and tastes just right.

    About The Varietal

    Zinfandel

Zinfandel, affectionately known as "Zin" in the United States, is a dark-skinned red wine grape variety extensively cultivated in California. It was introduced to the Americas from Europe in the early 19th century and quickly gained popularity in both Napa and Sonoma counties, where it continues to be a prominent and successful variety today.

    About The Producer

    Frog's Leap

Frog's Leap is a family-owned winery founded in 1981 by the Williams Family. Located on 160 acres in Rutherford at the historic ‘Red Barn,’ originally built in 1884 as the Adamson Winery, Frog's Leap produces 60,000 cases annually. Winemakers John Williams and Pablo Polanco create wines—Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Merlot, and estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon—using Napa Valley’s organically grown, dry-farmed grapes and traditional techniques. Their goal is to produce wines that truly reflect their terroir.
