This lees-aged Chardonnay from Saint-Aubin is rich and textured, with a balance of zesty acidity. The fruit is sourced from a 0.12-hectare plot of vines growing in clay-limestone soils. After hand-harvesting, the fruit is pressed and vinified in barrels sur-lie for 20-23 months, and bottled without fining or filtering. The lively palate bursts with notes of tart stone fruit, apple skin, flint, and lemon zest. This wine is truly exceptional.
